Kristin is a twenty-something grad student and future English teacher. She procrastinates by baking, crafting, shopping, riding her pink bike, and reading books that aren't course requirements. Kristin believes in the cause of hot guys reading books so much that she found one of her own, and now she raids his bookshelf all the time.

Consider Lindsay a twenty-something Anne of Green Gables. She works in a library and a middle-school. She enjoys eating mint chocolate chip ice cream while plotting to take over the world, crocheting Harry Potter-themed scarves, taking her dog, Penelope, for long walks, and reading as many books as she can get her hands on. She even has a literary tattoo. Once, Lindsay was compared to President Garfield.

Brandon is a young man who is possibly obsessed with both books and guys. He is pursuing a Degree in English and Library Science, with plans to own a bookshop later in life. Eleanor has submitted a photo of her hot brother reading.  As of when this photograph was first submitted, he was single.  She wrote, “All inquiries will be filtered through me.  Please include a 10-page essay on the cosmos in general and your particular position in it at the moment.”
Even though the 10-page essay sounds daunting, her brother is a handsome reader.  I’m sure some lucky soul has made it through Eleanor’s arduous selection process.
(thanks, Eleanor!)

This blog might satisfy a lot cravings, but when in an awesomely awkward quest to get a picture of a hot guy reading is included, it’s double the fun.
Our submitter writes: “I took this on the metro in Paris. I’m almost positive this hot guy was reading in French. The girl next to him had just sat down and I’m pretty sure she thought I was taking a picture of her. The stupid and possibly creepy grin on my face (the result of listening to Tom Lehrer on my iPod and trying to stifle my laughter) probably didn’t help.”
Keep on taking those pictures kids. There are many more hot guys reading, and infinite more girls to creep out on the subway.
(thanks, valdemort18!)

The submitter writes, “Spotted this hot specimen waiting for the train on the DC metro.  Love the hat and the fact that he was reading POETRY!”
Looks like I’m going to have to visit DC! I had no idea the metro is where all the hot guys were. Poetry totally makes me melt.
(thanks, Krista!)

There are a lot of awesome things going on in this picture. This is Andrew, who is catching up on some reading while on the Norfolk Broads (which I promptly googled and are “a network of mostly navigable rivers and lakes in the English county of Norfolk” - awesome thing number one). According to our submitter, Andrew runs the Books & Stories blog - awesome thing number two. Oh, and there’s his awesome hat, an awesome boat, and awesome scenery.
Really, I just want to hang out with awesome Andrew and have an awesome time.
(thanks, emmelinedraws!)

I love how content and focused this guy looks while reading. The submitter writes: “Coming home for Thanksgiving break, I see this man sitting in the Seattle Airport. He was very determined to read his book, titled Respect, even though the two old women next to him were talking very loudly.” He was probably glad to have his earbuds in.
(thanks, Sophie!)

The submitter writes, “Spotted this laid-back hottie at the beach…but I was too embarrassed to take his picture, so I had to sneak it from behind.”
I kind of like the different angle, and that he’s on a bench swing. I love bench swings. Also, we get to see his hat. I’m wondering if he’s hiding some epic hair under that hat? I hope so!
(thanks, Allison!)

Nice hat, nice glasses, and nice view on the train to New Orleans.
I wasn’t talking about the window.

The submitter writes, “Personally, I love an Irish man with a bit of stubble catching up on him.” But the submitter left out some important information. Is he in Ireland? Does he have an Irish accent? This inquiring mind wants to know.
Note: I’m going to be taking a brief haitus until next week Thursday. Hopefully Lindsay and Kirstin will keep you all entertained until I return!

It looks like he’s in a hammock. Might he be in a hammock? I hope he’s in a hammock. I love hammocks.
I’ve used the word “hammock” too many times now and it sounds weird.
He’s reading Gone For Soldiers by Jeff Shaara.
(thanks!)
