Meet the Writers
Alli has a degree in English and still reads profusely even though she works in software. HGRB was Alli's brainchild, and she still cannot believe how popular it's gotten. Aside from reading and blogging, she enjoys drawing, adrenaline inducing adventurous activities, and making her friends laugh.

Kristin is a twenty-something grad student and future English teacher. She procrastinates by baking, crafting, shopping, riding her pink bike, and reading books that aren't course requirements. Kristin believes in the cause of hot guys reading books so much that she found one of her own, and now she raids his bookshelf all the time.

Consider Lindsay a twenty-something Anne of Green Gables. She works in a library and a middle-school. She enjoys eating mint chocolate chip ice cream while plotting to take over the world, crocheting Harry Potter-themed scarves, taking her dog, Penelope, for long walks, and reading as many books as she can get her hands on. She even has a literary tattoo. Once, Lindsay was compared to President Garfield.

Brandon is a young man who is possibly obsessed with both books and guys. He is pursuing a Degree in English and Library Science, with plans to own a bookshop later in life. He enjoys all kinds of sweets, very rainy days, dancing, and the color pink. He's immensely proud of being a half-Cuban and the small personal library he owns.

Jordan is a farm kid in her early twenties and in graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology. When not doing the school thing, she works as a freelance sports writer for an embarrassingly low price. She enjoys time with her dog, Maggie May, sewing items that her mother has to fix, hotdogs, and summer camp. Her bucket list includes learning to play the cello and living on the Pacific Northwest coast.

This relaxed guy is Greg. The submitter says she was surprised to learn that he “…was not only a hot singer but also a hot reader!!” I have to say, my surprise comes in the opposite direction. The hot guy reading is also a hot guy who sings? Oh, be still my heart. I’m simply all a quiver. Or something. Is this the part where I fan myself or am I not enough of a southern belle for that?

Even though this is a posed picture, the submitter explains that “it’s a promotional launch of the pink books he’s holding… from an indie press published journal featuring local contemporary writers.”
This HGRB is named Mesandel Virtusio Arguelles; he’s a critically-acclaimed poet from the Phillipines. In fact, that large stack of books on the shelving behind him are all books he has written. And besides that, he has epic hair.

These guys look like some sort of reading boy band. Like, maybe they would serenade you with lines from classic literature? Or maybe they’d just produce hit pop songs like “Girl, You Can Join My Book Club.” Let’s make this a reality.

Mark another one down in the “hot guys with interesting hairdos” category! I wonder what he was thinking when he looked into the mirror that morning. (I mean that in a positive way, though, not like, “What were you possibly THINKING, Delores, when you added live birds to your hat?!” but I’m genuinely wondering what was going on in his…I’m writing myself into a deeper and deeper whole, aren’t I?)

Happy 4th to my friends in the US! I spent the day on Washington, DC’s Mall. I saw sadly few hot guys reading books waiting for the fireworks. To make up for this atrocity, I present another example of hot guys with enviable hair reading books!

What won me over on this photo was not so much the guy, but the description that came with the pic:
This was taken on the bus in Cambridge, MA. Hot Guy was reading Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, but I was more interested in asking him what hair products he uses to achieve such height.
I wonder if Einstein has a theory regarding the ratio of hair height to nerdiness of material in relation to overall hotness?
